CLC Count Room
THE “COUNT” ROOM (3 and 4 years)
Our 3-4 year old preschool program is designed to help children learn, explore, and build confidence in a fun and nurturing environment. Through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and age-appropriate experiences, children develop important skills that prepare them for the next stage of their educational journey.
Children will explore early literacy and language, including letters, sounds, vocabulary, name recognition, and beginning writing skills. In early math, they will practice counting, numbers, shapes, colors, patterns, sorting, and basic problem-solving. Creative activities such as art, music, movement, and sensory play encourage imagination and self-expression.
We also focus on social-emotional development, helping children learn to share, take turns, communicate their feelings, follow classroom routines, and build positive relationships with teachers and friends. Children strengthen their fine and gross motor skills through activities like cutting, coloring, building, dancing, outdoor play, and hands-on exploration.
Most importantly, our 3-year-old program encourages children to be curious, confident, independent, and excited to learn—creating a strong foundation for preschool, pre-K, and beyond.
